Impeach Donald Trump
The fake president is going to be impeached!

Thank goodness, nevermind the naysayers, those who want to decry this development as an act of partisan politics. It is partisan, but that is only because the democrats in congress are showing a genuine concern for the rule of law, our national security, and the integrity of our elections.

It is true that there are some partisans that have been calling for the impeachment of the president since he took office. You can complain that they were being presumptive, but it does not mean that they were wrong. Donald Trump conspired with a foreign power to win the presidency in the first place, and he is set to do it again if nobody stops him.

He is corrupt to his core, and his corruption is spreading to every branch of government.

Those who were calling for his impeachment from t=day one, they may have been presumptuous but they were right.

Donald Trump is a criminal and he must be removed from office, if the Senate won’t do it when he stands trial there, then the people will have to do it November, but either way history has to record that his conduct is unacceptable, will not be tolerated, and cannot continue.

It is the duty of all Americans to stand behind this impeachment.

The day he ordered a government agency to lie about the size of the crowds attending his inauguration was the first instance of an abuse of power that showed us what we could expect during the course of his term.

It was a small thing, and completely in keeping with his character; people laughed and made light of it, but I was reminded of Master Ittei’s words from the Hagekure: “Matters of great concern should be treated lightly.” Master lttei commented, “Matters of small concern should be treated seriously.”

This is more than just a bit of strategy, it is a philosophy for life.

Donald Trump cannot be trusted to execute his oath faithfully, and censuring him is not enough.

Congress must let the world know that his presidency is not acceptable to the American people, and every single one of his supporters in the House of Representatives, and the Senate must be put on the record that they approve or disapprove of his actions, whatever the case may be.

They must be put on the record and held accountable for their vote by the judgement of their constituents, and of history, ultimately.

Let come what may!
